Job Description:
Under general direction, performs an assortment of complex engineering duties such as the planning of manufacturing, and the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical apparatus.
Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, components, products. Provides existing support to activities in the use of electrical devices and energy for commercial, domestic, and industrial use. Works directly with engineers in other disciplines to augment production size and value. Constructs, installs maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering. Requires at least 5 years of applicable electrical engineering experience.
Excellent oral and written communications skills. Understanding of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Experience with analytical and CAD software. Requires knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans
Requirements
The ideal candidate must also:
Demonstrate proficiency in electrical design, machine controls, programming and troubleshooting, to include comprehensive knowledge and experience with system programming of PLC's, Servo valve and motor control systems, Stepper motor control systems, various drive and other electrical systems, electrical and control design, cam operated equipment as well as synchronous and asynchronous drive systems.
Possess the ability to program Allen Bradley products.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and skill with Project Management.
Possess the ability to adhere to all government standards and codes (i.e., NEC, OSHA, ANSI, etc.) |
