| Job Description | Multimatic Engineering specializes in providing product engineering, predictive analysis, vehicle dynamics development services, component, system and vehicle testing, prototyping and niche vehicle production services to the global automotive industry.
Multimatic Engineering is looking for a Program Manager that will report to the Director of Sales and Engineering and be responsible for managing the technical and commercial aspects of certain external engineering programs undertaken by Multimatic Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
?Manage overall program engineering and commercial activities to support achievement of all technical and commercial deliverables
?Establish and maintain the primary point of communication interface to the customer for engineering programs
?Define and track program assumptions, objectives, goals and deliverables
?Establish and track program timing and key milestones
?Manage and track program financial status
?Organize and conduct design and build reviews
?Interface with multiple global departments including other divisions of Multimatic as necessary
?Report on program status and identify critical issues
?Provide customer presentations and technical support
?Identify commercial opportunities and prepare quotations for new and existing programs including definitions of deliverables, cost, and timing
Education and Other Requirements:
?University degree in mechanical engineering
?10 years of automotive experience in product design or development, including familiarity with OEM processes and systems. Specific design/development experience in chassis or body structures is preferred
?Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
?Strong automotive knowledge and interest required
?Knowledge of computer aided design tools
?Must be able to work independently
Occasional international travel is required. |
