Job Responsibilities
REHAU Plant Cullman is a major competitor in the manufacture and supply of premium products to the Automotive industry. Having recently won significant additional, long-term business with some of our most important customers, we have ambitious expansion plans, including a considerable increase in our highly-skilled workforce, at our Cullman, Alabama facility.
We are seeking an ambitious, experienced Fabrication Shift Supervisor for our manufacturing operations located in Cullman, Alabama.
This position will supervise the assembly of plastic exterior original equipment automotive body parts such as bumpers, spoilers, rocker panels, door trim etc. Specific responsibilities will include:
Interaction with all other production areas to facilitate smooth flow of product and
adherence to schedules.
Special interactions with shipping department to ensure JIT/JIS delivery demands are met.
Some interactions with customers or customer representatives when issues arise that require plant involvement.
Continual monitoring of quality levels and responsible for adherence to standards within the department.
Continual monitoring of production performance levels and responsible for achievement of personnel performance.
Responsible for accurate production data recording and reporting.
Detailed interaction with maintenance department in troubleshooting problems and ensuring that downtime in minimized.
Participate in ""Kaizen"" and 5S activities and lead activities on the shop floor.
Support RPS (REHAU Production System) implementation and development.
Support action plans and directives as determined by plant management.
Job Requirements
Education and/or Experience Requirements
High School diploma required
College education or technical training is preferred
Candidate should have experience with automated production cells, robotics, and 2K dispensing systems.
Experience with manual assembly operations preferred.
Computer skills required. |
