RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs service orders according to assignments by Administrative Assistant/Maintenance Manager. Troubleshoots boiler failures reasons. Adjusts combustion settings, repairs or replaces items as deemed necessary. Enters all service details on the Maintenance Report, acquires customer signature and turn in report to Maintenance Manager for review.
Coordinates and assists Sales Department for boiler Pre-Start Up inspections as and when required. Performs boiler start ups and regular boiler inspections as per assignments by Administrative Assistant/Maintenance Manager. Enters required data on the Inspection Report, acquires customer signature and turn in report to Maintenance Manager for review.
Performs chemical test on boiler feed water, boiler water and condensate water to ensure proper chemical is maintained in MMC customers boiler system, according to assignments by Administrative Assistant/ Maintenance Manager. Assesses and identifies all scale or corrosion issues with regard to the boiler by using boroscope of other analyzers. Completes all details on Maintenance Report, acquires customer signature and turn in to Maintenance Manager.
Provides Miura representatives or customers training on proper boiler system operation, boiler operation safety and correct water treatment procedures.
Monitors the company van to ensure it is in safe working conditions at all times.
Maintains and organizes parts inventory in stock room and in service vans. Performs monthly physical inventory check. Researches and resolves inventory item discrepancies.
Monitors and maintains all tools and testing equipments, making sure all are in good conditions per manufacturer’s recommendation or state codes.
Maintains knowledge, observes and practices appropriate procedures in regards to Safety, Quality and environmental standards. Participates in team meetings and decision-making.
Keeps work area safe, tidy and clean.
Follow all safety and OSHA policies and guidelines.
Will perform inspections, repair, troubleshooting in boiler rooms.
Will perform some sales activities to promote Miura products and services.
REQUIREMENTS:
Field tecnician experience is required.
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering degree is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels in an organization. |
