FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER, CHROMATOGRAPHY INSTRUMENTATION NORTHERN NEW JERSEY


The Field Service Engineer helps Teledyne Isco customers enhance the productivity of their laboratory processes and drives high levels of customer satisfaction by performing installation, maintenance and repairs of Teledyne Isco instrumentation. The Field Service Engineer represents Teledyne Isco and fosters business expansion by providing ""best in class"" responsiveness and professionalism in all customer interactions. This also includes sale of service agreements.

Requirements
Requires knowledge of digital and analog circuitry, computers and mechanical systems with the ability to test, troubleshoot and repair electronic instrumentation usually acquired with an Associates Degree in Electronics Technology or one to two years of electronics instruction. This position requires one year of experience on similar instrumentation. Requires the mental ability to synthesize, coordinate and compile the measurements and observations made while logically troubleshooting instrumentation independently at customer's sites. Requires the ability to determine whether problems are instrument related or applications generated.

Requires excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively with customers on a professional level, excercising tact and discretion.

A valid driver license is necessary coupled with a driving record that permits the use of rental automobile companies. Candidate will work from a home office and commute to customer sites daily. Overnight travel may be required.

This is an hourly entry level position and will require four weeks of training at the Lincoln Nebraska factory. Overtime will be required.
