Job Description
We are currently looking for a highly qualified and motivated candidate with a minimum of 2 plus years of CNC experience. Prospective candidates must have experience and/or education in Fanuc CNC controls, motion control, hydraulics and pneumatics. A good mechanical aptitude is required. Individual will be responsible to adjust, install, and maintain Vertical & Horizontal Machining Centers, CNC Lathes, Vertical Bridge Mills, VTL?s, HBM?s and other equipment. Disassemble and reassemble equipment for repair. Inspect, test and analyze test results, error codes, as well as gather info from operators to troubleshoot and repair CNC machinery.

Strong customer relation management, problem solving, and self motivation skills are necessary

Qualifications
The Field Service Technician job requires lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying heavy toolboxes and parts, stretching, walking, and climbing, so it is important to have good eye-hand coordination and to be in good physical condition.

Responsibilities:
Perform installation, repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance on machine tools sold to customers such as CNC lathes, horizontal and vertical machining centers, vertical bridge mills, VTL?s and HBM?s.
Install and troubleshoot related electronics and Fanuc control systems.
Serve as liaison with Sales and home office to support and resolve customer issues.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years hands-on experience in industrial machine tools installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Knowledge of related electronics and Fanuc control systems troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Minimum HS Education, GED, or Machine Tool Experience.
- Good interpersonal communications skills for interfacing with customers and addressing their operational and maintenance questions.
- Ability to travel up to 70%

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with two years? related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associate?s degree in a technical field preferred but not required.
