Position Description
Job Summary:

Qualifications:
This position requires a minimum of 5 years experience on oil and gas production facilities. Effective communication skills, a good understanding of oil and gas operations, and solid working knowledge of oil and gas process equipment are required. Additional requirements of the position include basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities:

-Dew point testing, Monitor gas quality to sales points, maintenance and monitoring of glycol dehydration systems.

-Monitor pipeline cathodics equipment.

-Track and maintain pipeline chemical inventory for gas quality control and corrosion.

-Execution of start up, shut down and operating procedures for compressors, H2S removal equipment, dehydration units, pneumatic chemical pumps and solar chemical pumps, instrumentation, valves and alarms.

-Minor maintenance of compressors, dehydration units, H2S removal equipment, engines, pumps, controls, piping and valves.

-Monitoring of high and low pressure of pipelines and tank fluid levels with Scada system.

-Pigging of pipelines without interruption to normal gas and liquid flows.

-Daily production reports including downtime, abnormal gas volumes, condensation and unaccountable losses.

-Communications with operations supervision, field - plant - and maintenance employees, clerical staff, producers, pumpers, landowners and contractors.

-Perform monthly safety checks on ESD system and other safety equipment.

-General house keeping- keep locations clean and wash equipment as needed.

Education:
Grade and salary will be commensurate with relevant education and experience.

Certifications/Licenses:
The following certification is required for this position: Valid drivers license

Travel Requirements:
The percentage of travel required for this position is 0 - 10%

Work Schedule:
This position is on a 40 hour / week schedule Monday - Friday. This position covers 24-hour operations and must be available for 24/7 on call.
