| Job Description | Purpose:
Position will contribute global trade optimization scenarios including; regional trade recommendation opportunities by BL, trade control oversight process, and process advancement strategy.
Activities:
- Global strategic integration yielding process opportunity definition
- Dynamic awareness of Global optimization updates/opportunities
- Develop standardized delivery of region trade optimization function
- Create and implement of trade optimization oversight controls
- Support TC regional upstream activity service
- Contribute to GTC productivity pipeline
Communication:
- Management level articulation of project scope initiation/progress
- Governmental information exchange
- Cross function TC GPO resource integration
- Regional Regulatory/Classification Specialist coordination
Reporting:
- Project design and result dissemination
- Strategic progress/productivity updates
Qualifications:
Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Four year degree in Business, International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field
Six years of professional experience with a minimum of 4 years professional experience in Trade Compliance
Demonstrated examples of regulatory compliance
Knowledge of business operations related to supply chain
Comprehensive knowledge of free trade opportunities
Comprehensive knowledge of free trade regulations
Excellent communication skills
Ability to author project process initiation
International trade system literate
Fluent in English
Desired Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of SAP systems (sales and distribution functions)
Knowledge of International Trade Systems (i.e. GTS, AES, ATLAS, GDM, etc.)
Knowledge of Trade Compliance system
International Trade and/or Supply Chain experience
Six Sigma Green Belt and/or LEAN certification
Systems and process development
Chemical manufacturing background a plus |
