| Job Description | Responsibilities
Responsible for the purchasing, pricing, and marketing of a group of metal products for warehouse and customer sales. Develops sales strategies, new products, promotions, and conducts sales presentations on assigned metal products. Monitors and maintains acceptable inventory levels, turnover, and margins to maximize branch profitability. Solicits direct and warehouse sales on all metal products. Actively involved with telephone sales of metal products.
Qualifications
College degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of three years in product management of metal products or outside sales experience concentrating in metal products for the building materials industry. Broad knowledge of business administration, marketing, or procurement management a plus. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and with teams. Ability to use telephone continuously throughout the day. Require proficiency in utilizing computer software applications necessary for performing job responsibilities.
