This individual will support sales of TE Energy Division grounding products to the Americas market. The product manager will be responsible for the overall product portfolio of this business segment.
Responsibilities will include:
Developing a product line strategy that will help TE grow our grounding connector solutions in a profitable way.
Leading and harnessing internal and external resources across functions like purchasing, planning, sales and manufacturing to support required actions to grow product family.
Developing external launch packages for new product launches.
Input new product needs to R&D along with business case to justify the projects.
Responsible for meeting team product GM targets and product line growth targets.
Work closely with Account Managers to promote new products at the utility and industrial accounts in support of meeting regional sales and growth targets.
Coordinate new product launch and marketing activities into business channels
Market research to identify new market/product opportunities
Field product technical calls
Product sourcing internally and externally
Cost cutting initiatives
BA in business related discipline or equivalent experience
Five years of prior product experience in an electrical connector market space is desirable
Technical experience in energy/electrical power industry is a plus
Marketing and channel management skills desirable
Superior communication skills and ability to work as part of a team as well as function independently is required
Individual must be capable of attaining measurable sales goals, be able to prioritize their work and be able to travel
Successful candidate must have strong time management skills with an emphasis on professionalism, flexibility and a decided sales and business development orientation
