 Description/Job Summary
 
 The successful candidate will preferably have a demonstrated history of excellence in chemical engineering and preferably experience with energy reduction techniques and projects.

 Responsibilities/Duties
 Responsibilities: 
 
   
 
 ?   Lead/assist new process developments / technologies and optimization of existing processes 
 
 ?   Provide technical expertise in energy reduction projects 
 
 ?   Lead/assist in implementation of new product development projects into manufacturing facilities. 
 
 ?   Develop and build excellent relationships with the BI and SFI organizations, become a key engineering resource for the business units. 
 
 ?   Support the delivery of capital projects, on time and on budget, in accordance with group capital asset management procedures 
 
 ?   Develop integrated models for process optimization 
 
 ?   Support cost saving activities and contribute to continuous development and improvement of current business practices 
 
 Required Skills
 ·   Engineering degree with at least 5 yrs industrial and/or research based experience 
 
 ·   Excellent communication skills both oral and written 
 
 ·   Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment 
 
 ·   A proven track record of excellence and demonstrated the ability to go above and beyond the obvious requirements of the job role. 
 
 ·   Capable of building and maintaining effective and trusting relationships across several business divisions. 
 
 ·   Expresses courage and confidence in their own abilities and demonstrates passion for doing the right thing.
