FLSmidth Krebs Inc. is seeking a Hydraulic Design Engineer for its offices in Tucson, Arizona to be responsible for developing hydraulic designs for new products and upgrading existing designs using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) as part of the process. The position requires, at a minimum, a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and two years’ experience in the job offered or in a related occupation, to include two years’ experience in the use of CFD and Finite Element Analysis; two years’ experience with mechanical design and strength of materials; familiarity with: mineral processing unit operations; pumps, motors, piping, flow control, and measurement devices; and analytical techniques used in the mineral processing field; ability to perform basic electrical wiring, pipe fitting, and machine operations; and familiarity with hand and power tools. These experiences may have been gained concurrently. |
