DSCI is recruiting for an ITAR/Export Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with the U.S. International Traffic and Arms Regulations, export control laws and regulations.
This position can be located at our corporate facility in Eatontown, NJ. Considerations for other locations can be made for a strong candidate.
The successful candidate will prepare and submit export license and agreement applications to the US Government to obtain authorization to export technology, product and services to DSCI customers worldwide.
This position will also advise and train DSCI Corporate representatives regarding export matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares and submits export license applications and proposed agreements in support of sales to foreign entities.
Assists in seizing business opportunities and objectives in international markets.
Implements the export control policies and procedures business-wide through training programs, and formal and informal communications.
Conducts audits of applicable DSCI processes and activities to assure compliance on a continuous basis.
Maintains accurate records of all export licensing/agreement activity.
Interprets applicable export regulations.
conducts fact-finding and investigations as necessary.
Develops new processes and procedures to support ITAR efforts
Independently leads problem analysis to develop new processes.
Qualifications:
BS Degree
3+ years of direct experience with ITAR Regulations
Must be US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
Knowledge of Export Regulations
Excellent communication skills
Experience in drafting and processing export license applications.
Engineering background a plus.
