| Job Description | Description: Provides support in developing and implementing semi-complex performance measurement and improvement initiatives.
Participates in making semi-complex inspections and investigations by gathering data related to proper utilization of company labor, equipment, materials and facilities.
Supports semi-complex planning of equipment layout, workflow, and accidental prevention measures to maintain optimum and safe utilization of plant resources.
Participates in determining the most economic methods, operation sequence and tooling for the fabrication of parts and finishing/assembly of components for semi-complex processes.
Participates in designing and performing studies of semi-complex manufacturing processes and equipment.
Performs support in semi-complex manufacturing engineer duties, may include plant layout, scrap reduction and quality assurance functions.

- candidate needs to be team oriented individual, have the ability to possibly work with both shifts at times, have daily interaction in a shop floor environment, the desire to drive change, supports process improvements and studies in a LEAN mfg environment with an aggressive timeline.
Tasks this candidate may do - Create time studies and waste observations; Workcell design and layout –Document in AutoCAD;
Create Standardized work and Operational Method Sheets;
Create and implement and/or source workstations, jigs and fixtures;
Develop and implement improvement material presentation to workcell/workstation;
Design method to convey material from storeroom to workcell with workstation optimization Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word in particular) , Visio is a plus, AutoCAD Drug, Full background check and Diploma.
