| Job Description | Set up and Operates Plastic Injection Molding Machines and Auxiliary Equipment for production or R&D molds
Provides technical recommendations to improve quality and performance of molds and molding machines
Make necessary adjustments and monitor injection molding machines to produce quality components
Maintain documentation on machine quality out-put
Inspect plastic parts and work pieces using inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, depth gauges, plug gauges
Understand and follow ""Operator Instructions"" necessary for safe operation of machines
Participate in problem solving process
Participate in ""Continuous Improvement Process""
Perform minor repairs and call in work orders for maintenance
Store and clean tools properly
Keep work area clean and orderly
Prior Injection Molding Experience Preferred
Good understanding of monitoring processes and product quality
Good understanding of trouble shooting industrial equipment
Excellent knowledge of safety practices and procedures around manufacturing equipment
Strong mechanical skills
Basic computer use
Salary: $20.00 /hour
