Indiana Plastics, Inc. of Elkhart, IN is a full-service custom injection molder offering injection molding, insert and over molding, as well as assembly, heat-staking, pad printing, sonic welding and other value-added services. Indiana Plastics is immediately searching for Production Supervisor/Shift Foreman for second shift. The ideal candidate will be a high-energy, and outgoing individual with strong leadership skills and abilities. Strengths must include extensive injection molding processing experience, and excellent communication, coaching, and mentoring skills. Candidate must have the ability to promote and enhance employee relations.

Responsibilities:
*Supervise, direct, and assign production employees so that production needs are met efficiently
*Prepare and set up tools, machines, and auxiliary equipment to our internal standards
*Set up and adjust injection molding processes to ensure product quality
*Proactively take steps to improve production efficiency and reduce scrap
*Maintain equipment as required
*Train production personnel in areas of production processes and safety
*Operate forklift to move parts and tools as needed
*Evaluate employee performance
*Work with engineering and quality control to continuously improve products and processes
*Perform other duties that may be assigned

Requirements:
*3+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment
*Excellent communication skills
*Excellent leadership skills
*Computer literacy
*Ability to follow written work instructions and procedures
*Excellent time management skills

Preferred:
*5+ years of processing experience in an injection molding plant
*Familiarity with injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
*Formal training in scientific molding principles, RJG or other
*Training in lean methodologies
