| Job Description | Cadre is committed to improving our instrumentation and creating control systems that will make us the most automated and reliable supplier of proppants. We're looking for someone with the ability to update the PLC/HMI and improve quality and reliability with automation.
This position reports to the VP, Engineering and works closely with the maintenance and technical engineering group to assist in the planning and execution of instrumentation and controls activities throughout the plant.
Primary Responsibilities:
•Perform the installation and calibration of plant equipment such as transmitters, level indicators, differential pressure indicators, flow meters, motion sensors vibration sensors, etc.
•Responsible for the modification and upkeep of the plant’s PLCs, HMIs, DCS, & SCADA system.
•Configure, calibrate and troubleshoot plant instrumentation such as transmitters, level indicators, differential pressure indicators, flow meters, motion sensors, vibrations sensors, etc.
•Determine the scope of instrumentation for assigned projects. Estimate project costs, resources and time to completion of projects.
•Oversee contractor work to ensure instrumentation meets the requirements of design and installation detail as specified.
•Perform I&C engineering including preparation of: design criteria, specifications, calculations, datasheets, material requisitions and work packages.

Qualifications:
At least 5 years of related experience in instrumentation and controls, industrial electronics or electrical maintenance and repair, industrial computer systems, programmable logic controllers, or intelligent distributed controls.
Familiarity with Smart Plant Instrumentation, Wonderware, and Allen Bradley RS Logix.
Experience in the design, programming, and maintenance of industrial control systems, including HMI.
Initiative and ability to prioritize work, recognizing the need for doing thorough and complete work, but at the same time addressing the demanding schedule requirements. |
