Dollar General's Lease Compliance Coordinator will process and resolve through defined workflows landlord lease compliance/store maintenance related issues for all traditional and market stores. This position will also audit and interpret lease language relating to maintenance responsibility in REM/SLM. The Lease Compliance Coordinator will receive calls from the external call center and will notify landlord of appropriate action via phone and certified mail using standardized form letters while also reviewing new store leases for accuracy and auditing lease language.
Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Solid negotiating skills.
Above-average ability to make firm decisions in line with departmental directives and lease terms.
Ability to organize and prioritize effectively in order to accomplish goals.
Ability to interpret lease language to ensure the Company is not in default.
Ability to negotiate effectively with Landlords or landlords’ attorneys.
Strong ability to solve problems.
Ability to operate Window programs and SLM/REM Modules.
Work Experience and/or Education
College degree in business or related field and at least two to three years of experience in property management, legal or related field preferred.
Four to five years of experience in facilities management, legal, or administration may be substituted for degree.
Compensation will consist of a competitive salary based on your experience, with bonus potential.
