Foth Production Solutions, LLC is currently seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Lead Electrical & Controls Engineer for our Chicago, IL or Green Bay, WI location, who is looking for new learning experiences, opportunities for career growth, and a desire to contribute to our clients’ success.

Primary Responsibilities:
•Provide technical hardware and software design leadership for industrial projects
•Develop, issue and conduct QA/QC of design packages for bid and construction
•Coordinate and execute design and programming of PLC, HMI, VFD and Servo Motion projects from hardware design and software integration through construction start-up
•Coordinate and lead electrical engineering, design, and CAD resources
•Provide hardware and software design for machine design projects in consumer product industries
•Lead the development/generate design packages and direct CAD resources
•Lead and develop supporting project documentation, schedules, and cost estimates
•Produce high quality project deliverables while working in a collaborative team environment
•Gather data, provide installation, start-up and troubleshooting support
•Work simultaneously on multiple projects and client teams

•Travel as required (domestic and/or international) for field work and/or other client/business objectives (approximately 25 - 30%)

Required Qualifications:
•Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
•10+ years of related industry experience or a combination of related line integration/communication, process controls, or custom machine controls years of experience and/or a related Associate Degree
•Experience with the following: ?10+ years of Allen-Bradley and Siemens platform
?10+ years of AC VFDs, servo programming (motion controls), PLC, HMI and related software
?10+ years of Ethernet and Profibus Communications
?Sensing technologies, panel design/layout
?Producing engineering construction and bid packages according to employer/client standards
?Flow control valves, damper actuators, P&IDs, loop configurations, thermocouples, level, flow, and temperature controls
?Packaging line integration, including: case packing, metal detection, palletizing, along with other packaging-related equipment
?Web handling
Preferred Qualifications:
•15+ years of experience
•Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 24 months of your start date
•Experience with the following: ?SiemensStep 7 PLC and current Siemens servo technology
?Interfacing with clients/customers
