| Job Description | The successful candidate will be responsible for product design and generation of engineering documentation to meet customer objectives and various compliance code regulations.
In addition to the planning, scheduling, and coordination of the various stages of the project; will create and maintain bills of material, update document management system, and provide guidance to other engineering personnel.
The ideal candidate must have the ability to:
Determine customer objectives/requirements and appropriate design solutions.
Generate engineering documentation and calculations that conform to and support the following codes and standards; ASME, TEMA, Chinese Pressure Vessel Directive and PED.
Design and confirm integrity of current designs using the following programs: AutoCAD, COADE PVElite, CodeCalc, MathCAD, SolidWorks-COSMOS, and Algor.
Plan, schedule, and coordinate various stages of the Engineering projects to meet delivery timeline.
Generate part Number Entries and Bills of Material using TCM software.
Generate Manufacturing and Customer Drawings.
Utilize Document management Systems for storage, retrieval, revision control and approval of
Engineering Documentation.
Prepare engineering specifications and product standards.
Provide technical guidance to other Engineering personnel.
Minimum Qualifications:
We are searching for a candidate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology and Five (5) years full-time work experience in Engineering. Proficiency with Microsoft Office software. Knowledge of rotating machinery and related components such as shafts, motors, bearings, seals, etc. is highly desirable. Familiarity with the following standards preferred: ASME – Sect VIII andB31.3, TEMA, Chinese Pressure Vessel Directive and PED.
