Job Description: Our U.S. Financial Services (FS) Practice consists of approximately 2,300 assurance professionals, including 223 partners and 650 managers. It spans industry sectors and functional skill areas, including insurance, investment management, capital markets, banking and real estate. We serve many of the world's largest financial institutions. This means that we have insight into the challenges facing the industry. PwC is the leader is serving large, complex financial services institutions.
In the U.S., we audit:
- 18 of the top 50 life insurers, representing 39 percent of admitted assets.
- 19 of the top 50 property and casualty insurers, representing 44 percent of net premiums written.
- 11 of the top 25 reinsurers, representing 47 percent of net premiums written
.- Over 2,900 mutual funds, representing 40% of all mutual funds and 58% of total industry net assets; this includes funds at nine and the advisor and funds at six of the top ten funds families.
- Two of the top three, three of the top 15, and five of the top 20 US-based commercial banks.
- Five of the top 20 mortgage servicers, and four of the top 20 mortgage originators.
- Nine of the top 50 broker-dealers.

PwCâ?™s Actuarial and Insurance Management Solutions (AIMS) practice assists private and public entities throughout the world with critical insurance business issues. We provide solutions to the challenges caused by intense competition, technological changes, workplace pressures, mergers and acquisitions, globalization, increased attention from regulators, and the ongoing struggle to provide greater value to all stakeholders. PwC's AIMS practice is one of the largest actuarial consulting groups in the United States with over 40 credentialed life and non-life actuaries located in nine offices across the country. These professionals regularly provide advice, consulting, and audit support services to every segment of the insurance industry including insurers, reinsurers, regulators, captives, third-party administrators, agents and brokers, and bureaus and associations. Further, we provide services to a wide-range of Fortune 500 and other self-insured corporations from virtually every sector of the economy, including aerospace and defense companies, healthcare providers, entertainment and media, pharmaceutical companies, and consumer products companies.
The AIMS Property & Casualty (P&C) group provides a broad range of risk analysis services related to personal and commercial lines, such as automobile liability, general liability and workers compensation. Major offerings include services related to:-Reserve Analysis -Mergers & Acquisitions -Product Design & Pricing - Predictive Analytics- Litigation Support -Regulatory Assistance -Alternative Markets -Reinsurance-Enterprise Risk Management
We also provide a wide array of additional P&C consulting services regarding financial reporting and audit related matters, captive feasibility studies, transfer pricing, IRS tax disputes involving insurance reserves, cash flow projections, funding studies, allocation schemes, and retrospective rating plan premium accrual calculations. Recently, we have begun a major initiative to expand our capabilities in predictive analytics for P&C and Life Insurance.

Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge and success with utilizing detailed analytical and creative problem-solving skills to manage multiple, concurrent projects related to risk analysis and/or financial reporting in at least one of the following areas: - Insurance coverages and claim operations, - Reserve analysis; - Mergers and acquisitions; - Product design and pricing; - Litigation support; - Regulatory assistance; Â- Alternative markets; Â- Reinsurance; - Current legal issues and allocation methodologies affecting claim evaluationsProven experience as a claim adjuster, supervisor and manager of an insurance and/or reinsurance company with audit experience preferred. Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge of, and success in claim adjuster or audit supervisorial/managerial roles within an insurance or reinsurance company involving, multiple insurance lines--Auto, GL, Workers Compensation, and Property, with particular emphasis in professional liability and A&E.Skills PreferredDemonstrates proven extensive abilities and success managing efforts with identifying and addressing client needs: building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement; communicating value propositions; managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets, billing and collections; maintaining project economics while maintaining flexibility for unanticipated issues; and preparing complex written and verbal materials.
