This individual will manage and oversee logistics operations. They will maintain the warehouse areas in a clean and neat manner as required by Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure audit ready at all times; ensure efficient shipment and receipt of all product and other materials from and to Lifecore, in accordance with current Quality System and Standard Operating Procedures; maintain accurate shipping/receiving inventory movement records for all materials to ensure accurate traceability; manage material flow, storage, and disposition while improving efficiency and reducing cost; incorporate process flow improvements to ensure material flow is sustainable and scalable for future growth; management and maintenance of all Logistics SOPs, procedures and work instructions; implement/manage import/export corporate wide compliance program; organize contracts with all vendors and negotiate freight rates; supervise all warehouse/logistics activity and personnel; familiarity with the Fourth Shift manufacturing/or similar software will be essential to ensure shipments of product are recorded and accounted for accurately; provide an immediate response and demonstrate a sense of urgency for issues encountered in material flow process; have responsibility for all international/domestic shipments of finished goods to the customer.

Job Requirements:
BA/BS in Business, Logistics or related field or equivalent certification and experience required. Logistics Certification preferred. 10+ years of Operations/Distribution/Logistics management experience in positions of progressive responsibility. Cross functional, results/team oriented leadership. Import/Export program implementation and experience. Experience in medical device and/or pharmaceutical environment preferred. Demonstrated ability to build and manage logistics infrastructure, cost performance, inventory and distribution programs in a multi facility environment. Strong analytical, financial and project management skill required to succeed. In depth knowledge of key supply chain/logistics processes and current best practices.
