1. Maintaining Plant equipment in a safe and operational mode.
2. Utilizing advanced skills to support maintenance/repair/installation of Plant equipment
3. Troubleshooting and repairing equipment.
4. Performing preventative maintenance.
5. Performing safety checks on equipment.
6. Maintaining a positive attitude and integrity at all times.
Position Responsibilities:
? Installs, repairs and properly maintains all equipment to ensure efficient operations and safe working conditions. Responds to requests for equipment maintenance/modification for safety related issues.
? Conducts daily inspections throughout the Plant as directed to check production and operation of all primary equipment. Conducts periodic inspections of non-production equipment including HVAC, battery-powered equipment, and building structures to ensure proper and safe working conditions.
? Completes preventative maintenance on equipment according to established Preventative Maintenance Program. Communicates issues found during PM to Maintenance Manager for resolution.
? Performs advanced maintenance on equipment related to specific training in areas such as basic electrical (blueprint reading, schematics), basic plumbing, lathe operation, advanced welding, millwright skills and PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers).
? Disables equipment found to be an immediate safety hazards and communicates with Shift/Plant Management and Maintenance Manager.
? Performs additional duties as assigned.

Requirements ? General mechanical skills consistent with 3-5 years experience in a manufacturing environment.
? Advanced knowledge/training/certification in at least one of the following areas:
o General electrical including blueprint reading and schematics
o General plumbing-pipefitting
o General Welding including ARC, Oxyacetylene, torch
o Machining and Lathe operations
o Millwright
o PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers)
? Knowledge of safe operating practices involved in the use of power tools, lock-out/tag-out programs and food safety.
? Experience with general category tools (hammers, pliers, grease guns, etc.).
? Strong commitment to company values.
Education Requirements:
? Completion of applicable High School, Vocational or Technical School programs.
