The Opportunity:
Goodman is seeking a professional, skilled individual for the role of Sourcing Manager, in our Houston location.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Identify and Negotiate with Supply Base for purchases.
Establish Strategic Contracts/Agreements for commercial aspects of role.
Process and enter Purchase orders, Project updates and metrics as required.
Track spending and savings performance for weekly metrics.
Define and create process plans and strategy for supplier consolidation, annually improve plant level expenses and identify CIP initiatives, standardization of processes and product types etc.
Obtain a minimum of 5% savings annually YOY for area of responsibility.
Work as a team to consoidate and leverage supply base across facilities for similar expenses.
Develop and enforce departmental and ISO process procedures and ensure compliance
exists.
Develop, evaluate and negotiate commercial terms/agreements.
Identify and implement short and long term opportunities to improve overall success.
Develop and generate Strategies which align and deliver to annual savings expectations.
Develop, implement, communicate and enforce ISO policies.
Misc. Sourcing/Strategy projects and duties, travel if required, all performed as needed.
Manage AP exceptions, misc. projects and duties, metric reporting and tracking, all performed as needed and to expectations.
Qualifications:
10 yr. minimum in supply chain position, with proven track record for accomplishments and strengths.
Possess good verbal written communication ability.
Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent in experience.
Strong ability to work independently, willing to multi task and complete tasks to a designated timeline.
Strong need to follow up and follow through on all duties and requests.
Strong leadership skills and ability to enforce processes.
High ethical standards and displays professionalism and respect in all aspects. |
