| Job Description | Full time, second shift
Monitors and advises on proper electrical installation and troubleshooting techniques, enforcing electrical and control standards and compliance guidelines / requirements, established within the governing bodies locally and nationally recognized.
Reviews manufacturers' service manuals, establishes usage schedules, and records of electrical maintenance problems to determine optimum frequency of preventive maintenance.
Responsible on their assigned shift, for electrical and electrical control related projects, repair upgrading, and manufacturing related programming on PC based or PLC operated systems.
Responsible for and gate keeper, at shift level with maintaining electrical systems and required documentation, in compliance with local, state and national codes.
Will participate in, and write Lockout Tagout procedures, for new and upgraded equipment / facility installations, utilizing audits and PMs to stay current
Studies production and operation schedules and confers with other staff and with maintenance supervisors to determine when planned electrical maintenance will least interfere with operation of establishment.
Estimates costs of parts, and supplies to be used during scheduled electrical maintenance.
Maintains records of planned and completed electrical maintenance within the CMMS.
Prepares any daily work schedules approved by Supervisor related to there shift, coordinating within the work order system, communicate instruction.
Provides backup for the Electromechanical Technicians for advanced electrical and control troubleshooting and electrical repair.
Meets daily with Supervisor to discuss Production electrical and electrical control needs.
Participates in necessary on the job training and coaching to further develop electrically.

Qualifications: Associate's degree (A. A.) Industrial Electrician and control or equivalent course work from a technical college or Industrial Electrician and Control, State certified Journey level, all with three to five years related experience, required. |
