Job Description | Position Responsibilities (key duties, scope of position, goals, expectations, skill requirements, travel requirements)
· Provide leadership for Holcim´s safety, health and environmental policies
· Lead and direct for the maintenance organization in a manner consistent with company values, plant and company goals
· Utilize Holcim systems to optimize overall equipment effectiveness at the lowest sustainable cost of maintenance (including SAP and MAC)
· Develop, sustain and monitor a comprehensive maintenance program
· Develop, the maintenance department 's annual budget in line with plant goals
· Grow the maintenance planning processes; implement effective condition based predictive and preventive maintenance processes
· Support and facilitate continuous learning to enure constant growth within the Maintenance Department.
· Ensure equipment availability target is achieved
· Effectively develop employees within department
· Develop and prepare feasibility studies/reports for improvements in equipment and plant facilities
· Responsible for organizing training of maintenance personnel and monitoring the success of such training
· Provide technical input for the purchase of machinery, refractory, maintenance materials and other equipment
· Some travel required
Educational Criteria:
· Bachelor’s degree with discipline in Engineering preferred

Other Related Experiences Required or Preferred
· Minimum 5 - 10 years of combined management level and cement industry experience in a supervisory/managerial role
· Strong technical skills
· Proven, effective negotiating, analytical and problem solving skills
· Ability to guide and direct others
· Knowledge of maintenance planning and systems implementation
· Solid knowledge of computerized maintenance systems, AutoCAD and SAP, as well as Condition Based Maintenance techniques
· Knowledge of all MS Office software and MS Project software.
