Job Description
Turano Baking is a family-owned and operated specialty baking company that produces a variety of full and par-baked breads and baked specialties that are delivered daily to customers throughout the nation. Turano Baking's products range from old-world French and Italian breads to Kaiser and sandwich rolls to Biscotti and assorted dolci. Our breads are baked using ancient, time-tested techniques and recipes found throughout Europe creating the highest quality of product available.

POSITIONS AVAILABLE AT BOTH OUR BERWYN, IL AND BOLINGBROOK, IL PLANTS

Duties:
•Must have strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to read schematics, ladder logic and utilize technical manuals.
•Experience working with tunnel ovens, mixers proof boxes as well as other equipment within a baking environment.
•Industrial 3-phase experience.
•Troubleshoot and repair production/packaging equipment.
•Strong working knowledge with pneumatics and hydraulics.
•Knowledge and ability to use shop equipment (mill, drill press, lathe, stick welding).

Job Requirements

•Strong working knowledge of Allen Bradley PLC’s.
•Experience with CAMS (Computer Assisted Maintenance System).
•Understanding of frequency drives, control panels, relays, solenoids, sensors, limit switches, circuit breakers up to 480 volt.
•Must have strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to read schematics, ladder logic and utilize technical manuals.
•Experience working with tunnel ovens, mixers proof boxes as well as other equipment within a baking environment preferred.
•Industrial 3-phase experience.
•Troubleshoot and repair production/packaging equipment.
•Strong working knowledge with pneumatics and hydraulics.
•Knowledge and ability to use shop equipment (mill, drill press, lathe, stick welding).
•Post secondary degree/technical degree or equivalent work experience.
