POSITION: Maintenance Supervisor

REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Plans and directs and supervises the maintenance and repair of process control and production equipment

Direct personnel engaged in all phases of plant engineering function, including installation, repair and maintenance of all plant systems

Produces and delivers status reports and documents giving details or summaries of maintenance activities

Establish work procedures to meet production schedules; Follow GMP and GDP practices

Study production schedules and monitor available maintenance windows for completion of scheduled & unscheduled work orders

Interpret Company policies for workers and enforce safety regulations

Develop an understanding of OSHA, EPA, and other regulations to ensure compliance

Monitor SOPs and suggest changes in working conditions to increase efficiency of work crew

Administer development and training programs for employees

Analyze and resolve equipment problems

Evaluate maintenance personnel performance

Other duties assigned

Education/Experience Required



Education: Bachelor Degree or equivalent preferred; five to eight years related experience or the combined equivalent. Experience in Blow molding, Injection molding, Extrusion Blow molding preferred.

Language: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond in-group environments.



Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistics inference, and fundamentals of geometry, trigonometry, and statistics.



Reason: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret and extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.



Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with Co-workers throughout the corporation.
