Job Summary
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to add to our maintenance department. General duties include diagnosing and solving electrical and mechanical problems with CNC and other types of equipment on our production floor, performing routine maintenance to our building and equipment, installation of new equipment to include electrical, air (pneumatic) and water hookups, and ability to create a solution based on an oral description of the problem or need. The position also entails ordering parts for machinery and completion of maintenance records.
Responsibilities Outline
• Inspects and diagnoses problems and determines the best way to correct them, frequently
checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs.
• Performs routine preventive maintenance
• Repairs and rebuilds broken machinery and equipment.
• Performs repairs and renovations to physical plant.
Essential Skills and Requirement
• High school diploma, GED, or other relevant experience
• Mechanical ability
• Electrical ability
• Plumbing ability
• Methodical and detail-oriented
• Ability to read and work from technical drawings, schematics and instructions
• Knowledge of basic machinery and mechanical measuring devices
• Experience in production environment preferred
• Effective communicator
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong work ethic
