Trade Compliance Manager / Facility Security Officer:
This position will manage on a global basis Pall Corporation’s trade compliance personnel who process transactions in SAP. This position will also act as Facilities Security Officer in our New Port Richey, FL facility.
Trade Compliance:
Establish, implement, update and maintain the trade compliance process procedures to ensure compliance with regulations relating to international trade. Interact with Government Regulatory Agencies and 3rd parties within the area of accountability. Develop, implement, and maintain training programs to ensure employees and businesses involved in trade compliance related activities understand and follow Company trade policy and procedures. Ensure efficient, secure and compliance cross border transactions for NAFTA and other applicable FTA’s in SAP environment. Manage and support International Trade Compliance specialists with product classifications and SAP GTS master data relating to Harmonized TARIFF (HTS), Country of Origin, Export Classification Control Number (ECCN) and Import Classification Control Number (ICCN).
FSO:
Processing of personnel security clearance via the e-QIP system, record maintenance, understanding of the intelligence community and access requests, administering security awareness training programs. Establish procedures for handling, storing and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitor access to restricted records and materials, and associated documents. Responsible for visitor control functions. Develop and run security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents and equipment. Manage Closed and Restricted areas. Review and implement federal security regulations that apply to facility operations. Conduct new employee briefings, exit interviews and debriefings, coordination of periodic re-investigations, preparation of DD 254 forms, and obtaining badges for employees. Preparation, management and interfacing with DSS during security inspections.
Solid knowledge of international laws and regulations governing Customs and Export Control. Extensive experience with the implementation and operation of SAP FT and SAP GTS required. Processing of personnel security clearance via the e-QIP system, record maintenance, understanding of the intelligence community and access request, administering security awareness training programs. Functional knowledge of governing security regulations and NISPOM. Knowledge of local, country and international trade laws affecting company’s global trade operations, including basic understanding of US Trade Regulations (EAR, ITAR, Customs Treasury’sOFAC,USCustoms requirements).
Required Skills
Bachelors Degree in business related field required and candidates must have 7+ years practical experience in Trade Compliance and 2+ years Security Management experience in a DOD Contractor environment based on the NISPOM.
This position requires candidates to possess a Customs Broker License, US Citizenship and Top Secret or higher security clearance.
