Wyman-Gordon Grafton is a 1 million sq. ft. manufacturing facility with a 50,000 ton press, 35,000 ton press and 18,000 ton press for large titanium, steel and inconel closed die forgings.  Assure Wyman-Gordon's Quality systems and procedures satisfy government and customer requirements, and assure compliance of product shipped to contractual requirements.
 
 ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
 
 Main point of contact with customers, regulatory, and government agencies on all quality related issues, and audits
 
 Maintain and update the Quality Manual
 
 Control and approve internal procedures
 
 Auditing of Wyman-Gordon for compliance
 
 Responsible for the audit and approval of subcontractors
 
 Manage personnel responsible for quality planning, release of product and raw material, and the final certification of product.
 
 Manage the Level III NDT Examiners responsible for personnel qualification, special process certifications, procedure generation, and audits
 
 Function as the Management Representative as required by ISO-9001, AS9100
 
 Responsible for ensuring compliance with NADCAP, ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
 
 Review and approval of subcontract requisitions
 
 Manage personnel performing source inspection, audit, and release of product from subcontract suppliers
 
 Required Skills
 EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
 
 BS minimum, MS, or 5-10 years experience in quality related functions preferred.
 
 Training as ISO Lead Auditor
 
 Knowledge or experience required in the following areas: Melting Processes, Forge Processes, Metallurgy, NDT Testing, Material Testing, Heat Treatment and furnace qualification requirements, Blue Print and Specification interpretation, SPC, Machining processes, Customer specifications and requirements, Calibration  requirements
 
 
 SPECIAL SKILLS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
 
 Knowledge of Computer Systems (NDT, Syteline, CAD/CAM)
 Good PC skills and ability to program and maintain Quality Databases (ACCESS)
