JOB DESCRIPTION: Manufacturing project engineer with responsibility for implementation of automated material handling, machining & assembly systems. Strong emphasis on

Project management responsible for the improvement of existing automated manufacturing systems.

Leadership in the application of robotically based, flexible automation systems throughout the Rogersville facility.

Development of the skills sets necessary in the manufacturing, engineering, and maintenance areas such that the application of robotic automation becomes a core competency within the organization.

Serving as an agent of change to continuously challenge and improve existing manufacturing processes. Implement both incremental and breakthrough process improvements to reduce cost and improve quality.

Project management including active participation and/or ownership in the identification, justification, and implementation of automation projects for manufacturing process improvements.

Typically does not have any direct reports.

EDUCATION: BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

Hands on experience with robotic integration.

Demonstrated project management skills.

Demonstrated mechanical aptitude for automation design.

Proficient with PLC based control systems.

Proficient in CAD based tooling design.

Strength in root-cause analysis problem resolution.

Good interpersonal and communication skills.
