Job Description:

Under close supervision, performs professional Manufacturing Engineering assignments of a basic degree of complexity.

Work involves the application of basic engineering principles to perform routine design, fabrication, modification and evaluation in support of manufacturing operations. Conducts analyses or tests of a routine degree of complexity pertaining to the development of new methods, materials, processes or standards and provides recommendations accordingly. May prepare plans, process specifications and procedures, production aids and assembly fixtures, MRP support studies, factory cost work standards and assignments of similar complexity. May assign work to drafters and technicians.

Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. Entry level.

Strong verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology. Familiar with analytical and CAD software. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

Requirements

Work with PD&R and fabrication on New Product Launches

Work on Capital projects for capacity and efficiency improvements

Work on cost savings and process improvements

Work on safety and OSHA related projects

SAP/BOM's/Routings

Work with various microsoft tools

Perform CAD drawing using PRO-E and AutoCad

Work with Tool &Die and Maintenance to sustain manufacturing floor issues
