COMPANY PROFILE:
Fluidyne Corp is a manufacturer of short run machined components and assemblies for naval applications, specializing in valve related items. We have been a prime contractor to the Navy since our inception in 1984 and a subcontractor to both Newport News Shipbuilding and Electric Boat Corp for the majority of that time. A considerable portion of our business supports both the Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion and Level I/Subsafe programs. Although we do not design the products we manufacture, our ability to provide a quality product that meets our customers’ requirements is vital to our success. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated, hands-on, business savvy individual.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Potential candidates must possess a BS degree in engineering.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and manufacturing standards.
Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and other engineering related software.
Preparation of manufacturing drawings, welding and testing procedures, shop travelers and related documents.

WORK HOURS:
This position requires a 48 hour minimum work week, with additional overtime available subject to supervisor approval. Depending on the number of hours worked, employee may start as early as 7:00 AM, but no later than 8:00 AM. Our lunch period is 30 minutes. We do not work on weekends.
