| Job Description | JOB DESCRIPTION:
Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods
Design and provide drawings for fixtures and tooling for use in manufacturing
Provide engineering support to business/production units
Analyze, plan, and design layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency
Estimate production times and related costs
Evaluate manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes
Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential
EDUCATION: BSME, BSMET, or BSMEE preferred
REQUIREMENTS:
Gathering and analyzing information skillfully and developing solutions
Developing, managing, and coordinating projects and team activities
Increasing productivity and improving quality
Leading efforts to build a continuous improvement culture
Achieving monthly and annual goals
Solid analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient with Pro-E or Solid-Works design software
Experience with set-up reduction techniques
CNC programming
Providing leadership in maintaining union-free status
Following policies and procedures to support organization's goals and values
Creating and maintaining a clean, safe, working environment
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Managing finances within budget |
