Chassis Controls

Job Description :

-Develop and maintain manufacturing strategies for equipment, workplace layouts, material flow to meet strategic goals

-Responsible for the identification and acquisition of new equipment/processes to support requirements.

-Resp. for preparation and build of PPAP parts for new products-Investigate and solve manufacturing/machining process problems.

-Manage area responsible tooling inventory, including tool ordering & liaison with suppliers.

-Lead projects to improve cost, quality, delivery and safety of manufacturing processes. Support Point CIP to improve safety, quality cost and delivery

-Responsible for leading efforts to achieve key metrics.

-Organization and prioritization of task and projects.

-Support product team, CIP activities, and plant goals.

- Value stream mapping and process flow and material flow.

Job Requirements :

-BS degree in an Engineering field or higher.

-Strong project leadership skills

– mentor/teach and work with engineering personnel-Experience with machining of aluminum

-Experience with fixture design, gage design, carbide & PCD tooling

-Effective problem solving skills. Knowledge of Shainin and PDSS a plus.

-Ability to coordinate and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Communicate and interact effectively including presentation skills.

-Project Planning experience.

-Self starting, results oriented, flexible, team player.

-Demonstrate discipline and consistency regarding adherence to established standards, policies, and procedures.

-Able to perform in a high dynamic area with constantly changing requirements-German Language skills (preferred but not required)
