Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:
?Strong manufacturing and engineering problem solving skills
?Work closely with leads to plan, schedule and implement manufacturing processes
?Prepare routine and special reports for management
?Inspect products using tools of the trade
?Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
?Design tools and fixtures for production process
?Improve manufacturability of products and assist with the introduction of new products
?Assist with the planning, design, purchase, and implementation of integrated assembly, fabrication, or welding processes in a manufacturing plant

Requirements
Qualifications & Preferred Skills:
?Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience
?Technical zeal
?Must be able to read and operate a: micrometer, caliper and tape measure
?Must be able to read blueprints
?Attention to detail
?Competent CAD software user, preferably Solidworks
?Knowledge & experience with SAP preferred
?Ability to work in extreme temperatures
?Ability to sit and work at a computer for more than half to an entire working shift (up to 8 hours)
?Ability to stand on concrete floor for up to half a working day


Requirements

Bachelors of Engineering

Develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying product and manufacturing methods, and implementing improvements via process controls and tooling and process improvements. Work with vendors to develop expectations of quality and delivery.
