B.S. Mechanical Engineer ideally with one of the following: Process Development, Industrial Engineering, Electrical qualification

Summary
Federal Mogul’s Material Department is in need of an experienced Engineer who can lead the department consisting of three hot bonding lines, aluminum rolling and slitting, aluminum casting and associated heat treating processes. Manufacturing 20million feet of bimetallic strip each year with a team of 60 machinists, the role of Department Engineer is critical to ensure continued production, optimization and development of new processes for new requirements and better productivity.

The Role varies from day-day problem solving on the floor to specifying million dollar equipment.

Plant and Equipment experience (installation, maintenance, permitting)

Proficient in Autocad (Mechanical Desktop)

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Ability to work effectively in teams and lead technical teams

Knowledge of Documentation Control


Highly Desired
Experience with strip processing

Rolling

Bonding

Slitting

Experience with casting (Metallurgy)

Electrical knowledge

Background in Quality Control desirable – especially Design of Experiments (DoE), SPC

Bonus (can be trained at FM)
Project Management

Ideally Microsoft Project working knowledge
