Job Description:

Provide engineering support to the manufacturing (integration) teams.

Resolve raw material, process, equipment, and training issues on production floor.

Work cooperatively with quality and development engineering, production, and supply management to ensure success of manufacturing process improvements.

Contribute to both new product development and product support team. Ensure that products under development are able to be manufactured and resolve manufacturing issues.

Develop process improvements; enhance procedures, fixtures, tooling, and production equipment.

Optimize processes for improved product quality, yield improvements, and cycle time improvements.

Prepare documentation that meets QMS requirements such as Work Instructions, engineering technical reports, FMEA's, equipment specifications, and product specifications.
Implement Lean manufacturing concepts to eliminate non-value added activities.
Provide Manufacturing Engineering expertise to cross-functional departments, as needed.
Provide analysis, development and implementation of preventive actions which resolve product, process and systems issues. Lead the troubleshooting and corrective action effort for process issues.
Qualifications:

BS degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience with network, computer, and radio equipment.
Standard office PC tools experience (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
Ability to travel domestically and internationally if needed.
Lean manufacturing experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

Lean or Six Sigma certification.
6 years relevant engineering experience in the electronic system build and integration.
Proven skills working independently and in a team environment.
