Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for aspects of manufacturing engineering functions including manufacturing process development and support, product introduction, manufacturing project management.
General manufacturing support and team participation.
Contribute to cost estimation, suggestion and evaluation for design for manufacturability, process investigation, prototype manufacture, etc.
Review production problems as they are identified and implement solutions.
Develop, implement and update documentation and training.
Position to support welding process.
Qualifications:
This position requires a four-year Engineering degree or a two-year degree along with five years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, or with no degree ten years’ experience. Certain technical skills and training such as CNC programming, CAD layout, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (G,D&T), process capability theory and statistical process control (SPC) may be required. Must have Certified Weld Inspector (CWI) certificate and have extensive robotic and mig welding experience. Greenbelt certification preferred. Must demonstrate good communication and organizational skills.
