We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer who will be responsible for performing duties to assist with the support, introduction, and manufacturing of Hologic Breast Imaging products. This position is located in Santa Clara, California.

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support Engineering, Service, and Manufacturing as a technical resource

• Introduce new products to the Field Service and Manufacturing groups

• Take new products through the Manufacturing process

• Release Engineering Change Orders for new and replacement parts used in Production and Service

• Qualify parts and manufacturers

• Research and implement ongoing quality improvements

• Troubleshoot manufacturing floor problems

• Assist with team creation of new products that meet manufacturability and serviceability requirements

• Responsible for product labeling and serialization in accordance with regulatory and
manufacturing requirements

• Work with many cross-functional departments, customers, and vendors internal and external to Hologic

• Other duties assigned

RELATED BUSINESS/TECHNICAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, and ABILITIES:

• Deep Familiarity with Windows and ability to navigate in Linux required

• Troubleshooting and analytical skills are extremely important, as this is a very detail-oriented position

• Excellent communication skills required.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• B.S. in Engineering

• Three (3) years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment

• Experience with medical devices, engineering/manufacturing engineering required

• Experience with Agile and Oracle preferred
