The Company is rapidly growing and a leader in the region featuring the latest technologies in metal fabrication. The company provides services including laser cutting, CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, forming, robotic welding, stamping, and powder painting. Impulse is a growing company with approximately 200 customers and 190 employees. The Company is dedicated to building an aggressive, highly motivated staff.
Role Summary/Purpose:
The Manufacturing Quality Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of the Quality Assurance department.
Essential Responsibilities:
? Manage daily quality assurance activities
? Support shop floor in resolving quality issues
? Serve as the primary interface between customers and cross-functional teams (Manufacturing, Engineering, Sourcing, etc.), assuring product / process compliance
? Perform Surveillance Audits on the Quality Management System
? Provide timely problem resolution to quality issues
? Implement and analyze Corrective Action Plans
? Support all initiatives, such as Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing
? Encourage and maintain a safe work environment
? Promote customer satisfaction and develop positive customer relationships
? Provide direction, leadership, and material support for the quality department
Qualifications/Requirements:
? Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college
? Ability to effectively influence and motivate others
? Familiarity with materials and equipment that are relevant to the function
? Strong oral and written communication skills
? Strong interpersonal and leadership skills |
