| Job Description | Orchid Anzon in Arcadia, CA is seeking two knowledgeable Manufacturing Supervisors.
Responsibilities
Must oversee all machining processes and ensure all processes meet quality standards consistently in order to produce cost efficient products that are in line with the companys established guidelines.
Must ensure direct reports follow proper procedures and maintain production and quality standards.
Visual and mechanical inspection of complex machined tools, fixtures, and parts using measuring instruments and equipment.
Organize and maintain programs and job schedules.
Maximize employee efficiency to ensure deadlines are met.
Training and continuous development of operators.
Employee performance management, including performance reviews.
Requirements
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a supervisor or lead.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Solid computer skills with knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
Basic knowledge of software programming, set-up procedures and operation of CNC machines.
Knowledgeable in the use of measuring instruments and equipment, including caliper, micrometer, optical comparator.
Ability to read and understand blueprints with GD&T.
Familiarity with inspection of parts to print.
Prior experience and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
Knowledge of cutting tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be organized and detailed.
Must possess ability to work independently and with little supervision.
Bilingual in English and Spanish or Vietnamese a plus.
Education
Associates degree and/or machine trade school certification preferred, but not required
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements
Must be available to work overtime and weekends.
Ability to successfully multi-task in a fast paced environment. |
