SUMMIT POLYMERS, Inc., a leader in the manufacture of plastic components for the automotive industry, is currently seeking a 2nd shift Molding Department Production Supervisor. This critical leadership position is responsible for overseeing the hour-by-hour operations of team members and molding department. These responsibilities include ensuring our safety expectations are strictly adhered to, meeting the production targets and quality standards established at Summit Polymers, Inc., as well as ensuring adherence to our lean manufacturing protocols. Other responsibilities include the training, evaluation, and discipline of shift associates in accordance with company personnel policies and procedures. Must have the ability to continually review and improve your department while maintaining a highly motivated, team atmosphere.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates must have a strong technical background in plastic injection molding and supervision. Experience in a Lean Manufacturing system is a plus and must have a demonstrated track record of hands on leadership with successively more responsibility being acquired. This position requires you to be able to meet our pre-employment testing standards and complete all post-hire training expectations. |
