| Job Description | Overview:
Under the direction of the Director/Manager, the Manufacturing Supervisor is responsible for monitoring productivity and motivating associates. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.
Responsibilities:
Identifies issues effecting efficiencies and assists in developing solutions
Monitors productivity and motivates associates in production and/or distribution areas
Ensures that all paperwork is properly documented
Keeps accurate attendance records; files proper reports (accident, probation, etc)
Supervises, counsels and coaches associates on a regular basis
Complies with company policies and procedures and maintains regular work attendance
Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMPs guidelines
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment required
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Intermediate PC skills
High level of organizational skills, good written and oral communication skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Must be able to multi-task and follow-up when responses are needed
Basic mathematical skills
Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions
Must work with certain food allergens
Physical ability to lift, stand, climb, bend, etc within a manufacturing environment
Experience:
Prior supervisory experience in a food manufacturing facility is preferable.
Education/Certification/ Licenses & Registrations:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Skills:
Bi-Lingual (Spanish) Candidate Preferred
Intermediate PC skills
