Job Description | Responsibilities:
· Manage market research initiatives from inception to completion related to CSI’s core Peripheral Artery Disease and Coronary Artery Disease businesses, including, but not limited to, the following:
· Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Investor Relations, and Executive teams to assess and prioritize research needs.
· Conduct secondary research into market expansion and business development opportunities including literature searches, industry reports, etc.
· Design and manage primary qualitative and quantitative market researc
· Select the most appropriate research methodology and techniques.
· Lead competitive market intelligence efforts including, but not limited to, the following:
· Develop and manage core business and cardiovascular disease market and share models.
· Support the annual strategic planning process for the company including cross-functional team leadership on the overarching effort.
· Support quarterly development of Board of Directors materials and presentations.
· Support business information and CRM projects.
· Develop strategic presentations and communications for company leaders.
· Work cooperatively with Engineering, Marketing, Clinical, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing.
· Travel approximately 25% of the time for conferences, research, etc.
· Design research questionnaires and moderator guides
· Interpret data, write reports, and make actionable recommendations
· Develop market research budget and plans
· Summarizing competitive quarterly earnings and public company reports.
· Tracking market trends through 3rd party data.
· Synthesizing all competitive data and assessing the strategic impacts for the company.
Required Qualifications
· 8+ years experience in Market Research within medical devices.
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or a technical discipline; an M.B.A or related Master’s degree is a plus.
· Deep understanding of medical device industry marketing and how market research is used to guide product commercialization, lifecycle management, and marketing campaign development.
· Demonstrated experience in conducting both primary and secondary research.
· Demonstrated experience in working effectively within and leading teams.
· Strong strategic, analytical, and project management skills required.
· Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel.
· Ability to self-task and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
