The Marketing Trade Analyst will plan and evaluate trade plan for significant Hatfield Quality Meats product lines and /or product categories with major contribution implications. Responsible for managing and tracking stated profit, volume, and revenue goals for product line.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Coordinating and leading activities towards the development of the Trade Strategy to achieve defined business objectives across all product categories

Providing leadership in the translation and execution of the Marketing strategy into efficient trade programs.

Leading efforts to leverage the Clemens Food Group Brand Positioning and solidify the company’s superiority through our National and Regional customers

Ensuring communication across the Product Development, Customer Solutions and Business
Development teams on Pricing and Trade matters

Putting in place, monitor and improve processes to link all Marketing activities wth the activities of the Trade/Sales team

Working closely with the Brand Strategy and Process Improvement teams to improve process that link corporate brand building activities and Product Development activities with Sales

Monitors event compliance by customer

Providing Post-Analytic data to effectively evaluate trade promotion efficiencies

Provides Central point of Contact for all price negotiations related to promotion

Manages disposition to close code products and communicate to sales team.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be authorized to work in the US

Consumer Packaging Goods (CPG) or Trade Management background preferred

3-5 years experience preferred but will consider qualified individuals

Excellent computer skills including familiarity with Microsoft Office programs, Excel in particular

Good verbal and written communication skills

Strong interpersonal and analytical skills

Ability to work independently and with individuals from multiple disciplines and with varying levels of experience

ERP systems experience preferred
