| Job Description | Position Summary:
Fillauer Composites, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Materials and Process Engineer to join our engineering staff. The primary function will be to develop new manufacturing processes, design new tooling concepts, and improve existing processes for our composites manufacturing operation. In addition, the position will focus on the expansion of our manufacturing capabilities to support the company’s growth in to new markets.

Primary Job Duties:
Develop new tooling and processes for manufacturing composite products
Improve existing production processes and equipment to reduce scrap and improve yield
Specify manufacturing processes and equipment for new processes
Create user-friendly work instructions and assembly drawings.
Provide work direction to technicians for testing and evaluation
Create production documentation needed for launch of new products
Collaborate with organization at all levels to implement new processes
Creates and maintains engineering drawings and specifications.
Address and resolve existing production and quality issues
Education/Experience:
Engineering degree (BS required)
1-3 Years of experience in a manufacturing environment
High level of proficiency with SolidWorks 3D modeling
CNC machining experience
Work experience in composites manufacturing is beneficial but not mandatory
Exposure to general manufacturing processes
Familiarity with ISO Quality Systems |
