Job Description:
Work collaboratively to implement and improve upon the Process Safety Management (PSM) program and engineering practices at Superior Oil Company, Inc. The primary objective of this position will be to manage the risk of working with hazardous materials thru further development of the engineering and mechanical integrity systems for each of Superior’s locations. Job responsibilities could consist of designing and providing input for changes to facilities and equipment, development of mechanical integrity systems, plans, and procedures, project scheduling and implementation, and development and implementation of other elements of PSM as needed. Future responsibilities may also include development of company policies and standards that comply with recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices as well as metrics which indicate the overall state of the mechanical integrity program at Superior

Job Requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
0 – 5 years of working experience
Proactive and self motivated
Demonstrable organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize and plan according to project and task importance
Willingness to learn and develop knowledge and skills required for current job demands and new projects
Comfortable working with multiple disciplines to successfully complete job requirements in a timely manner
Desired Experience:
Prior work experience with Process Safety Management, particularly the mechanical integrity element
Knowledge of API, ASME, and NFPA codes concerning tanks, vessels, and piping
Project management experience
AutoCAD experience
Chemical Facility or Refinery experience |
