Qualifications
Typically requires a minimum of 15 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; or 12 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 8 years experience; or equivalent experience. You will need to be proficient designing with Pro-E or other similar CAD packages such as NX or SolidWorks. The ideal candidate?will have experience with vacuum systems, process chamber design, RF pedestals and sources, robotics design for atmospheric and vacuum environment and experience designing wafer heating and/or cooling systems. Any experience with Etch, CVD or ALD is a plus.
In this role you will design and analyze mechanical systems and components such as chambers, enclosures, chemical delivery, pressure, motion and temperature controls and vacuum pumps You will need some project management experience and an ability to lead design reviews. You will create complete design documentation (3D models and assemblies, drawings, work instructions and procedures BOM, etc). Work will involve mechanical design, engineering analysis, test, qualification and release of components and large assemblies. Duties include some customer interaction, reviewing and directing the work of sub-contractors, contract manufacturers or consultants and working with cross functional teams of process engineers, technologist, product support engineers and lab personnel.
You should be a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and capable of directing support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication and providing design information to drafting for packaging documentation. |
